These bags are designed to provide full coverage of the turbocharger, starting from the core assembly, all the way through to the exhaust outlet V-Band assembly.
When a turbocharged vehicle is under high load, the turbine housing on the turbo can get extremely hot, as can the manifold and dump pipe. Turbo bags have numerous benefits for performance street/strip turbocharged vehicles, the most important being the reduction of under bonnet temperatures, and the protection of parts surrounding the exhaust housing. They also benefit by keeping heat inside the turbine housing, which allows the turbocharger to have less lag during gear changes and re-acceleration.
